We approach the decoration of a dome as part of the larger iconographic program of the church. The scale, curvature and architecture of each space are carefully considered together with the traditional placement of the sacred images.From the central figure of Christ Pantocrator to the surrounding ranks of angels, prophets and saints, the imagery is designed to belong naturally to the architecture and to the prayer of the church.
